China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation Seven, LTD (Abbreviated as CC7) is a Wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. under the leading of State Assets Supervision & Administration Commission of the State Council, listed in the Shanghai Stock Exchange successfully. CC7 was founded in 1964 as a large backbone construction company of the central government in Sichuan, with its head-office located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The Company adhered to the business strategy of "Simultaneous development of both domestic and foreign markets, Chemical and Non-chemical fields" all the time. After half a century of innovation and development, the Company has become a "Pioneer" of CNCEC in implementing the "going out" strategy, a leader of global chemical industry development. In the last four years, CC7 continuously entered the foreign contracting “Double Top 100” enterprises by the Ministry of Commerce of China. In 2019, ranked 6th and 18th on newly signed contracts and operating income respectively.
CC7 has Grade A General Construction Contracting qualification for Architecture Engineering, Petrochemical Industrial Engineering, Municipal Public Works, and Mechanical & Electrical Works, Grade A Professional Contracting qualification for Steel Structure Works, and Environmental Protection Works, and Grade A Engineering qualification for Chemical, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Industries. In addition, the Company’s business scope covers highway, thermal power and other engineering projects implementation. Except above qualification, CC7 certified by Quality Management System (ISO9001), Environmental Management System (ISO14001), and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO45001). Having abundant equipment strength, CC7 equipped with various advanced construction machinery, electrical and instrument calibration equipment, physical and chemical detector, nondestructive testing equipment, automatic welding work station, etc. which can support number of large scale domestic and overseas projects execution simultaneously. Besides, CC7 has series of professional and mature construction techniques, a complete set of welding procedure qualifications, significant technical advantages in of oversized and overweight equipment transportation and heavy lifting, special materials welding, pressure vessels one site assembly, welding and heat treatment.
Over the past 50 years, CC7 has completed more than 600 domestic projects in the fields of chemical industry, municipal works etc., which include the first fertilizer plant, the first polyoxymethylene plant, the first high-purity polysilicon plant etc. in China. All those projects have been successfully completed, tested and commissioned once for all as per the contracts. At present, the total number and production capacity of polyoxymethylene and polysilicon plants undertaken by the Company rank first in china, and the total number and production capacity of synthetic ammonia/urea plants rank first in the world. The Company has successfully established the brands of synthetic ammonia, urea, polyformaldehyde, and polysilicon. Meanwhile, CC7 extend its focus on the fields of coal chemical industry, municipal administration, environmental protection, housing, 1,4-butanediol, methanol, sulfuric acid, ammonium phosphate, and highway etc. to form a complete brand industry chain and create a good brand effect.
In 1986, CC7 became the first to enter the international market in the same industry in China. So far, more than 60 large and medium scale projects in Iraq, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabian Russia, Vietnam, Laos, Iran, Turkmenistan, Dubai, Nigeria etc. more than 20 countries and regions were completed, especially the first large-scale fertilizer plant in Bangladesh and the first large-scale chemical EPC project in Russia, all these projects has been highly praised by local governments, owners and general contractors for its high efficiency and excellent quality, became a topmost internationalization company, the preeminent one in the implementation of “Going Out” strategy in the same industry. In October 2019, CC7 successfully signed the Baltic Gas Chemical Complex project with nearly 100 billion yuan contract value. This project is the largest ethylene integrated project in the world, the largest single contract value project in the global petrochemical field, and the largest contract value project among Chinese companies in “Going Out" strategy implementation. In 2017, the Company successfully entered the “Incremental Market” of municipal infrastructure under the “Belt and Road” initiative, undertook nearly 20 “Non-chemical” projects in the Middle East, including the Abu Dhabi Etihad Rail Network project.
