A safety audit team from UK, composed of Mr. Graham, International Finance Corporation and Mr. Marco, African Development Bank, arrived at Nigeria Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals Project site and conducted one-week safety audit from July 27 to August 3 local time in Nigeria.

The audit mainly focuses on two areas: site safety management and housekeeping, project safety regulation and technical documentation. Owner and the audit team respectively inspected CDU and RFCC unit plants in terms of distribution and use of PPE, behavior-based safety of site personnel, storage of on-site materials and housekeeping.Special inquiry has been made regarding work supervision and permit management for high risk works such as lifting, hot works, scaffolding etc. IFC auditor Graham fully affirmed the project safety management and expressed gratitude to all safety staff for their hard work.
