On June 14th, the first heavy equipment of GF project-auxiliary boiler arrived at the site and was successfully unloaded, which is a milestone for the construction of the project, marking official start of equipment installation works.
The boiler is an HRA module of auxiliary equipment 16-B-001A, with the dimension of 7355mm (L)*5970mm(W)*14850mm(H) and the weight of 240t. It is the first equipment planned to be installed in the project. Leaving Mongla Port 280KM away, the equipment was first transported by barge, and then through inland river was transferred to the temporary jetty where it was unloaded and carried away with the help of single point mooring tower (SPMT).
The timely arrival and successful unloading of the auxiliary boiler HAR module ensured the advancement of project’s key nodes, which was highly praised by the owner BCIC and affirmed by its partner MHI.
