On October 4th 11:00 a.m., Bangladesh GF Project team successfully transported the highest and heaviest equipment, Carbon Dioxide Stripper 01-C-301, to the designated place on site. The equipment, with an original weight of 447.5 tons, a transport weight of 489 tons and a length of 68.57 meters, reached 603 tons for its lifting weight after "dressing up".
Transportation of the equipment was quite a challenge for its heavy weight and long body. On that account, the successful transportation and unloading of 01-C-301 has been highly appreciated by the Owner and consortium partner Mitsubishi and laid a solid foundation for transportation of upcoming equipment--Carbon Dioxide Absorption Tower 01-C-302 & Urea Reactor 02-R-201.
