The end of a year is always a time of harvest and prospect when unexpected surprises and delights find their way to us. On Dec. 13 and 14, 2021, CC7(China National Chemical Engineering No.7 Construction(Nigeria) FZE), a major contractor for executing the Nigerian Dangote Oil Refinery & Petrochemical Project(DRPP), successively received two creative gifts from local employees: one is a hand painting with the theme that all employees work together to achieve the “Three Zeroes” goal of safety production which blended with the painter’s understanding of the project safety culture and expresses the positive expectation for achieving the above goal. Every detail of the painting reflects his sincerity and recognition of the project safety culture, represents his great affirmation of the project management; the other is a self-made desk calendar fully featuring the project, which covers the photos depicting some magnificent construction milestones of the project realized this year and the group photos of the maker and CC7’s members in daily work lives. In the past year, the employee has made himself a part of the project through hard work and established a deep friendship with CC7’s members.

Looking back on 2021, it is a year of win-win cooperation between the Chinese people and the Nigerian people. Responding to the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI), CC7’s staff and the local employees have forged a close bond. Adhering to the principle of “Mutual Respect, Openness and Inclusiveness, Innovation and Progressiveness, and Win-Win Cooperation”, the two side meticulously fulfill their respective responsibilities to promote the project construction, with the aim to build up a grand framework of the world’s largest single-train facility covering an area of about 36 million square meters along the coast of Guinea Bay which once was a wilderness. 

Upholding the philosophy of “Integrity and Pragmatism, Complementary Advantages, Mutual Benefits and Win-Win Cooperation”, CC7’s DRPP team strives to deliver excellent performance, be responsible to the society and boost the enterprise development in the course of project execution. In the coming 2022, the team will continue to maintain the work enthusiasm, earnestly implement the ideas of the superior Group Company and positively push the project execution for resounding completion of the project at earliest.
