The 1^st meeting of the fifth session of the 3^rd annual congress has been successfully held in Chengdu headquarters on Jan 17. Wu Kaicai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Company, chaired the meeting.  

Huang Junbin, the general engineer, chairman of labor union of CC7, addressed the meeting with the trade union work report titled “More Dynamic Development with Innovation and Harmony: Providing Escort Along the Way Building CC7 into An International Engineering Company” followed by work report presented by CEO Wang Dalin with the title of “Glamorous Opening of the 14^th Five-Year Plan and Pre-emptive Action of Dual Circulation: Striving for Continuous Promotion of High Quality Development of CC7”. Then Su Fuqiang, Party Secretary, gave an important speech on the “Forge Ahead into A Brighter Future, Unwaveringly Strive for A Stronger, Better and Bigger CC7 and Be at the Forefront of Leading Development of China Chemical Industry” and Chairman Long Haiyang delivered an important speech of “Strengthen Strategic Guidance, Focus on Decision-Making & Its Implementation, Comprehensively Improve Execution Capability and Promote High Quality Development of CC7”. 

It was summarized at the meeting that 2021 was the year 14^th Five-Year Plan was fully executed and the year a new development pattern was actively constructed. Company’s leadership team, under the strong leadership of Group Company’s Party Committee, led all the employees in solidarity to combat challenges calmly, future revived our spirit, seized the momentum and made tremendous achievements: the economic indicators hit a record high, the big operation patter was in its primary shape, the secondary operation (work related with claim/change order) yielded remarkable fruits, diversified developments continued to “get online”, the radiation range of international supplier network was once again expanded, and the brand image was ready to be upgraded. All in all, we have completed the annual objectives and assignments, making a good start for the 14^th Five-Year Plan. 

It was pointed out at the meeting that in review of the domestic and external circumstances as well as the development tasks, it is imperative to secure the established achievements, advance the balanced development of both domestic and oversea market with its highlights on quality while insisting on driving general contracting with investment and financing, advance the coordinated development of diversification, localization, internationalization and industrialization and accelerate the process of building CC7 into a globally competitive engineering company. 

Emphasized on the meeting that 2022 is the critical transitional year of the 14^th Five-Year Plan, the year of reinforcing compliance management. To achieve the yearly target, all staff from the management level shall optimize corporate governance structure and establish a modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, develop a package forming of talent and big data application, highlight the strategic guidance, deepen high quality development in a more practical way, combine the promotion of reform with the prevention and mitigation of risks to concentrate on risk prevention and to underpin compliance management, actively participate in the " Belt and Road" initiative, and accelerate the forming of a new development pattern.
