Gorshkov Evgeny (Горшков Евгений), Representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan in China, visited CC7 on April 1st. Chairman Long Haiyang met with Gorshkov Evgeny and had a friendly conversation. Both sides deeply exchanged views on the mutual concerns. Yu Wei, CFO of Russian branch, and Xu Zihan, senior manager of investment and financing, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Long expressed CC7’s intention to build a paint factory in Kazan and elaborated the project preparation progress & status and its operation prospects. He said that the company will adhere to win-win cooperation concept that is to create taxes for the local government, provide more employment opportunities and bring real welfare to local residents. Gorshkov Evgeny pointed out that Russian, especially in Kazan where the factory is planned to build, has investment advantages such as land, transportation, infrastructure, tax exemption and tax reduction, and low labor costs and etc.. He expressed his sincere hope that CC7 can push forward the implementation of project as soon as possible in accordance with Russian laws and regulations. Subsequently, Gorshkov acquired detail work status of the company's Steel Structure Plant in Chelny.
Both sides also communicated on the current epidemic situation, quarantine policy, Covid-19 vaccination and other matters. “It is urgent to establish a vaccine mutual endorsement mechanism and a two-way recognition mechanism for vaccination certificates between China and Russia to restore bilateral economic and trade exchanges,” Gorshkov Evgeny said.
In the end, Chairman long expressed CC7’s willingness to deeply participate in economic and trade exchanges between China and Russia. And China Railway Express under the“Belt and Road” initiative provides great convenience for developing business, especially the newly launched express from Chengdu to St. Petersburg will greatly boost CC7’s integration into the international circulation. Long added that we shall cooperate in China's high-speed ferromagnetic levitation technology, melamine and other related industries and our own technologies, as well as energy, transportation, investment and other fields. “As one of Central Enterprises of China, CC7 has a profound historical background and rich technical strength and management experiences. It is believed that CC7 will make greater progress in our cooperation with the support of Gorshkov Evgeny,” Chairman Long said.
