On September 6th, the Minister of Industry of Bangladesh, Nur Majid Mahmud Humayun, attended the commissioning opening ceremony of the synthetic ammonia plant of the Bangladesh GF project. Leaders from Bangladesh Chemical Industry Corporation (BCIC), CC7, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) attended the ceremony.

Humayun, on behalf of the Bangladesh government, extended the most cordial greetings to the project team, highly appreciated the sincere cooperation among the three parties, and fully affirmed the phased achievements of the project construction. He stated that the completion of the project would consolidate the foundation of fertilizer supply in Bangladesh and even South Asia, further promoting the economic and social development of Bangladesh.
